1.轴流风机

轴流风扇是冷却风扇的一类,轴流风扇的叶轮推动空气以与轴相同的方向流动。轴流风扇的叶轮类似于螺旋浆。工作时,大多数气流与轴平行,换句话说,沿着轴流动。当进入的气流是静压为零的自由空气时,轴流风扇的功耗最低。在工作过程中,随着气流背压的升高,功耗会增加。轴流风扇通常安装在电气设备的机柜内,有时与电动机集成在一起。由于其结构紧凑,节省了大量的空间,安装方便,因此得到了广泛的应用。

2.离心风机

离心式风扇的叶轮会将空气推向与轴垂直的方向。进入的空气沿轴向流动,而排出的空气则垂直于轴向。在大多数情况下,使用轴流风扇即可实现冷却。但是,有时如果气流需要旋转九十度或需要更大的气压,则必须使用离心式冷却风扇。从技术上讲,冷却风扇也是离心式冷却风扇。

3.混流风机

混流式散热风扇又称为斜流式散热风扇,乍一看混流式散热风扇与轴流式散热风扇并无二致,其实混流式散热风扇的进风口是沿轴线方向,但出风口是沿轴线与垂直轴线的对角线方向。由于这种散热风扇的叶轮与机壳呈圆锥形,因此风压较高。在尺寸大小等性能相当的情况下,离心式散热风扇的噪音比轴流式散热风扇小。

4.横流风扇

管状气流产生大量气流,通常用于冷却设备的大量表面。冷却风扇的入口和出口垂直于轴。横流冷却风扇通过使用相对较长的桶状冷却风扇叶轮来工作。桶状风扇叶片的直径较大。由于直径较大,可以采用较低的速度来确保整个自然通风,从而降低高速运行引起的噪音。
